Ein Sketchbook Kunstprojekt
Justice.Peace.Imagination ist ein Sketchbook-Kunstprojekt, das dazu ermutigt, die eigene Vorstellungskraft als wichtige Ressource zur Mitgestaltung unserer Welt wiederzuentdecken.
- Wo begegnen dir Gerechtigkeit und Frieden in deiner Lebenswelt? Und wo fehlen sie?
- Und wie sieht sie aus: Unsere Welt, wenn sie gerecht und in Frieden ist?
Diese beiden Fragen haben wir 2025 hunderten Menschen aus über 10 Ländern gestellt, die sich durch ihre Kunst ausdrücken. Menschen, die unterschiedlicher nicht sein könnten und deren Stimmen unbedingt gehört werden sollten. Sie haben ein leeres Sketchbook erhalten und es nach Monaten intensiver künstlerischer Auseinandersetzung als gefülltes Kunstwerk zu uns zurück geschickt.
Entstanden ist daraus eine einzigartige Bibliothek – vielseitig, tiefgreifend, sehr persönlich, zum Anfassen.
Nun sind die Sketchbooks bis November 2026 auf Reise durch Ost- und Mitteldeutschland und können besucht werden. Sie beginnen vor Ort, ihre Geschichten zu erzählen und eröffnen dadurch Dimensionen von Frieden und Gerechtigkeit, die so noch nicht gezeigt wurden. Das, was wir heute Utopie nennen, wird vorstellbar und verbindet sich mit echten Erfahrungen. Erlebe das Sketchbook-Projekt selbst! Außerdem geht’s hier zu einem Online-Raum, in dem die digitalisierten Sketchbooks entdeckt werden können. Der Raum steht euch auch für Meetings, Andachten, Bildungsveranstaltungen, Unterrichtsstunden uvm. zur Verfügung!
Justice.Peace.Imagination ist ein Projekt in der Evangelischen Kirche Mitteldeutschland und der Evangelisch-Lutherischen Landeskirche Sachsens. Sketchbook art project
Justice.Peace.Imagination is a sketchbook art project that ecourages people to rediscover their own imagination as a vitl resource for actively shaping our world.
- Where do you encounter justice and peace in your daily life—or where do you not?
- And what does it look like—our world, one that is just and at peace?
In 2025, we asked these two questions to hundreds of people from more than 10 countries who express themselves through art – people who could not be more different from one another and whose voices should absolutely be heard. They received an empty sketchbook and, after months of intensive artistic engagement, sent it back to us as a brimming work of art.
The result is a unique library – diverse, profound, deeply personal, and tangible. From March to November 2026, the sketchbooks will go on tour through Eastern and Central Germany and can be visited. At each location, they begin to tell their stories, opening up dimensions of peace and justice that have never been shown in this way before. What we today call utopia becomes imaginable and connects with real lived experiences.

The exhibition is accompanied by participatory formats that make justice, peace, and the power of our imagination a vital experience – always individually adapted on what is truly relevant for you in your community.

Proyecto artístico de cuaderno
Justice.Peace.Imagination es un proyecto artístico de cuadernos de bocetos que anima a redescubrir la propia imaginación como un recurso importante para ayudar a dar forma a nuestro mundo.
- ¿Dónde encuentras la justicia y la paz en tu entorno? ¿Y dónde faltan?
- ¿Y cómo se ve nuestro mundo cuando es justo y está en paz?
En 2025, planteamos estas dos preguntas a cientos de personas de más de 10 países que se expresan a través de su arte. Personas que no podrían ser más diferentes y cuyas voces deben ser escuchadas sin falta. Recibieron un cuaderno de bocetos en blanco y, tras meses de intensa reflexión artística, nos lo devolvieron convertido en una obra de arte completa.
El resultado es una biblioteca única: versátil, profunda, muy personal y tangible.
Ahora, los cuadernos de bocetos están de gira por el este y el centro de Alemania hasta noviembre de 2026 y se pueden visitar. Comienzan a contar sus historias en cada lugar y, con ello, abren dimensiones de paz y justicia que aún no se habían mostrado de esta manera. Lo que hoy llamamos utopía se vuelve imaginable y se conecta con experiencias reales. ¡Vive tú mismo el proyecto de los cuadernos de bocetos! Además, aquí puedes acceder a un espacio en línea donde se pueden explorar los cuadernos de bocetos digitalizados. ¡El espacio también está a tu disposición para reuniones, momentos de reflexión, eventos educativos, clases y mucho más!
